Quanos Solutions GmbH
Passion for smart information!
Quanos acts as a software partner in industrial aftersales & service and technical documentation. The group, formed by merger in 2020, brings together market-leading digital experts with more than 25 years’ experience in developing innovative, successful, and sustainable technologies for manufacturers and operators of machines and systems.
True to our motto “Passion for smart information”, Quanos supports over 1,200 enterprises to create, use, and optimize smart information in aftersales & service plus technical documentation with the aim of helping people understand machines better. More than 270 employees are engaged in furthering this mission bringing their digital know-how and passion for data to bear on a daily basis.
Quanos automatically links data from technical documentation, spare parts management, and other sources to a digital twin to enable those in aftersales & service to see the status of machines and systems at any time and in any place. A cloud-based data platform is used to make this possible: Quanos InfoTwin. Alternatively, customers can use the proven on-premise solution Quanos SIS.one.
For technical documentation, Quanos offers Component Content Management System SCHEMA ST4—the state-of-the-art solution in technical writing today. Through partner technology from Plusmeta, technical writers receive effective AI assistance to augment their product information. Software solutions from Quanos are key to data-driven processes in sectors including manufacturing, ICT, the food and drinks industry, as well as the automotive/automotive supplier and medtech industries.
Connector
EPLAN – PARTS-PUBLISHER integration
The interface jointly developed by EPLAN and Quanos Service Solutions GmbH connects the Quanos service information system and EPLAN for fully automated integration of electrical circuit diagrams into the service information system without much effort. The interface works as a plug-in to the EPLAN system. Circuit diagrams and equipment, as well as information on their representation and ordering data, are exported from EPLAN in a specific format and imported into the Quanos service information system, where they flow directly into the automated catalog creation process. Thus, with just a few mouse clicks, an information platform is created that supports mechanics and electrics.
